5 business tools I use to change “MY” Economy
1. Create goals with better questions
- Where would I like to be a year from now…Start from the end
- Why I am not there already? ( Be aware of what you are not doing.)
- Who is in control?
- Am I reading my goals every day?
- Do I have someone to hold me accountable? (Its usually not the plan..correct the execution)
2. Define my Customers
- What pain or problems do your customers face?
- What questions can you ask them about their business? (LISTEN)
- What is your solution to it?
- How are you different?
- What is your evidence?
- What can make the sale easier, faster smoother?
- Am I selling to sell or engaging in a conversation to build a relationship?
- Am I in their world? What frustrates them? (What outcome would need to happen for you to buy from me?)
3. Clarity of my Business
- Am I an aspirin or a vitamin?
- What business am I really in?
- Can you find the gap between you and your competitors?
- Are you different enough?
- What are the three most important things I should change?
- What are the three most important things I should not change?
- When you had a bad month financially what happened?
- Watch for critical drivers (tracking)
- Do I know what is working when it is working?
- Can I make certain connections?
- What am I not seeing?
4. Build referral partners
- Am I thinking outside the box? (creative)
- Who can I leverage my business with?
- Who can I ask for help?
5. Refine my skills
- Can I ask open ended questions?( objection training)
- How would the person I want to be do the thing I am about to do?
- Am I willing to accept the consequences of not changing?
- Who do I have to become to attract the success I want?
- Am I practicing to improve or doing just enough to get by?
- Am I aware of my words in my head (little voice) and what I say out loud?
- I…….. hope, try, want, wonder, think, can’t, if, need, promise, worry
- STOP AND CORRECT BY SAYING THE OPPOSITE!
